Q. When and how do I pay?

A. The hire charge is payable on the day of collection of the equipment. Along with cash, we take all major debit and credit cards as method of payment. We do not, however, accept cheques.

Q. What do I need to fit a roof box to my vehicle?                                                                                                          

A. To fit a roof box to your vehicle you will need roof bars. Roof bars are the foundation of any load carrying system - everything else is fixed to them. Even cars with front to back roof rails will need a set of cross bars.

Q. Can you fit roof bars to my vehicle?                                                                                                                             

A. In 99.9% of cases yes! We can fit roof bars to all sorts of vehicles, from 3 door models right up to estate vehicles and 4x4's. If Thule make a roof bar system for your vehicle, then we can provide roof bars for you.

Q. Do you fit the roof box and/or bars?                                                                                                                           

A. Yes we do. All our published prices include fitting.

Q. Are your roof boxes safe and secure?                                                                                                                        

A. Yes, all of the boxes we hire are lockable and weatherproof.  

Q. Do I have to leave a deposit?                                                                                                                                       

A. No! We require two forms of identification when you come to collect your roof box, one of which must include your current address, such as a recent utility bill with your name and address included. Please note, we do not keep or make copies of your identification. We simply need to see them.

Q. Do you hire roof bars without a roof box?                                                                                                                   

A. Yes we can hire out roof bars alone if that's all you require. Check out our 'Roof Bar' page.

Q. Do you deliver?                                                                                                                                                              

A. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver at this time, though this is a service we are looking into for the future. However, due to our close proximity to J11/10 of the M6 motorway, we are easily accessible from within a large radius.

Q. How much notice do I have to give you if I am interested in hiring a roof box and/or roof bars?                             

A. Its best if you can give as much notice as possible, especially in busy times such as school holidays or during the summer. But don't worry if you require a roof box and/or bars at short notice, we have been able to help numerous customers who have needed to hire a roof box urgently.

Q. If I make a booking what is the procedure regarding collection of my hired items?                                                  

You will need to collect any hired items you have booked - we do not deliver. We will email you 2-3 days before the first day of hire to arrange a suitable time for you to collect your items.
